Green Vase Publishing
Green Vase Publishing is the independent publishing vehicle for author Rebecca M. Hale. Through GVP, Ms. Hale successfully published the 2008 hardcover edition of How to Wash a Cat and subsequently licensed the title to Berkley Prime Crime as part of the Cats and Curios Mystery series.
Berkley's paperback version of How to Wash a Cat published January 2010 and quickly hit the New York Times bestseller list. The Berkley series continued with Nine Lives Last Forever, How to Moon a Cat, and How to Tail a Cat. How to Paint a Cat is due out March 2014.
In addition, the first book in Rebecca's new Mystery in the Islands series, Adrift on St. John has just been released. When a water taxi sinks and one of the vessel's passengers disappears, the locals suspect the missing woman may have been done in by a ghost from the island's 1733 Slave Revolt. The second book in the series, Afoot on St. Croix, is scheduled for publication in October, 2013.
